Mythic Beaches
Palombaggia, Santa Giulia, Rondinara
The beaches of Southern Corsica are among the most celebrated in the Mediterranean. Palombaggia, all white sand, pink granite and crystal-clear water, is fifteen minutes from the villa.
Santa Giulia and Saint-Cyprien offer calm lagoons sheltered from the wind. Further south, Rondinara forms a near-perfect circular bay, protected, wild and breathtaking. Each is worth a morning.

The coast explored from the water
The best of Southern Corsica is seen from the sea. Coves reached only by boat, the Lavezzi Islands nature reserve, the turquoise waters of the Strait of Bonifacio: a day at sea is one of the great pleasures of a stay in Porto-Vecchio.

Restaurants and Local Cuisine
Charcuterie, brocciu and flavours of the sea
Corsican cuisine is honest, generous and rooted in the land. Mountain charcuterie such as lonzu and prisuttu, brocciu, chestnuts, seafood and local wines make up a table built on centuries of tradition.
Porto-Vecchio and its surroundings offer excellent restaurants, from beach terraces to the refined tables of the citadel. The morning market is worth a slow visit. A private chef can be arranged on request.
Rivers and Mountains
Beyond the sea, the island within
Corsica is not only coastline. The interior is wild and magnificent: granite mountains, chestnut forests, maquis plateaus and some of the cleanest rivers in Europe.
The Ospedale massif and the Bavella Needles offer spectacular hikes, and the GR20, one of Europe's most famous trails, crosses the island. The natural pools of the Cavu and Solenzara rivers cool the summer heat.
Evenings in Porto-Vecchio
Gentle evenings, golden light
The evenings of Porto-Vecchio have their own rhythm: a slow walk along the harbour, a table outside at sunset, the golden light settling over the citadel.
For those who prefer to stay, Domaine Diva is just as beautiful after dark. A candlelit dinner on the terrace, the sea below and the Corsican sky above, is an experience in itself.
