A voice that spanned the century
Born Iolanda Gigliotti in Cairo in 1933 and arrived in Paris in 1954, Dalida became one of the greatest voices in song: nearly a thousand titles in ten languages, and a presence at the top from 1956 to 1987.
From Mediterranean variété to grand dramatic song, from pop to disco, she reinvented herself again and again without ever losing her singularity.

A house chosen to breathe
From the early 1970s, Dalida chose Southern Corsica. On the heights of Porto-Vecchio, facing the gulf, she had her house built: a place of retreat, far from the stage and from Paris.
A panoramic, sheltered position with no overlooking neighbours, where the house opens to the sea and the light. The counterpoint to an immense public life.

Life at the House
Summers simple and luminous
In summer, when her schedule allowed, Dalida gathered family and friends here. The days are remembered as turned towards the essential: swims, games of cards and Scrabble, long tables and generous salads facing the sea.
A home more domestic than social. In 1982, the press photographed her at her Porto-Vecchio villa, by the pool: the sign of a place loved, chosen and lived in.
A Preserved Art of Living
The spirit of the 1970s, intact
The house has kept the soul of its era: soft, rounded volumes, Mediterranean whiteness, terracotta and light. Not a reconstruction, but a continuity of atmosphere.
It is this imprint that Domaine Diva carries on today, with respect and discretion.
